Since 1988 Bayfarm's hard clam aquaculture operation has been providing growers up and down the Eastern Seaboard with a superior Mercenaria mercenaria seed stock. Our hatchery and nursery operations in southern New Jersey have produced hard clam seed with high yield percentages, uniform growth rates and excellent winter hardiness. We also produce C. virginica oyster seed. 

We provide shellfish farmers with clam seed as far north as Cape Cod and as far south as North Carolina. Our centralized location makes our clam seed versatile in hardiness to a broad range of growing conditions. Large orders can be hand delivered and smaller manageable orders can be shipped to you in a full business day.
